Ode to the Animal-Zoo

In the window, As I veiw,
Little barking-bits,
And hamsters too.

My socket-ball gets caught,
Upon a mouse,
I had to by it,
And take it to the house.

As I return home,
From the animal-zoo,
Mom shall look at me,
And ask whats new?

And to her question I shall reply,
Nothing but a ferry-friend,
To love and to hold,
And forever be kind.
